The Sepha POU Mini is an excellent machine for deblistering child resistant blister packages. It offers a semi-automatic mode of operation, and can deblister 300 packages/hr.

 

Sequence of Operation

• The drawer is pulled out and the blister package is placed into the custom tooling nest
• The cycle start button is pushed
• The cutting blades automatically cut open three sides of each blister cavity
• The custom fingers gently push the tablets or capsules out through the "trapdoors" cut into the lidstock

By only cutting three sides of the blister lidstock, the fourth side acts like a "hinge" for easy deblistering, but the lidstock is still firmly attached to the blister package. This prevents the lidstock from falling into the container with the clean deblistered product.
