According to Gino Rigitano, Operations Manager, “This documentation really streamlines the process of commissioning a new tool set for our customers. It eliminates confusion, and provides the paperwork that the validation people need. We also offer a similar package for our bottle filling slat sets. Our goal was to make it easy for our customers. Based on the positive feedback we have received, I think we can say that goal has been accomplished. Having all the documentation assembled into a single convenient book has proven to be helpful to our customers.”

12/2/08 Service Industries, LLC is pleased to announce that they have extended their distribution agreement with Sepha Ltd. to include the new BlisterScan, a non-contact, non-destructive leak testing machine for pharmaceutical blister packs. The BlisterScan is the new alternative to the blue dye test for leak testing. The BlisterScan uses pressure, vacuum and a precision laser system to check for leaks as small as 7 microns. The software gives a clear result for each package and even shows you which cavity had the leak. The machine is easy to operate, features touch screen controls, and requires less than 30 seconds for product changeover. With its fast test cycle, graphic display of results, and full 21 CFR Part 11 validation package available, this machine combines the latest technology with a validatable system for blister package integrity testing. Customers no longer have to discard perfectly good packages.
